Paru Minocha takes over as MRSI President effective  January 1st, 2023

Paru Minocha, Managing Director, South Asia, Insights Division, Kantar has been appointed as President MRSI, effective January 1st, 2023. Her appointment was endorsed by Managing Committee in the December 2022 monthly meeting.

Paru has been on the MRSI Managing Committee since 2019, and has previously held MRSI Office Bearer positions of Treasurer between Jan 2021 to Jun 2022 and Vice President since July 2022. Paru has over 27 years of work experience in market research and currently leads the Qualitative business and Sustainability Transformation Practice for Kantar SA.  In the last three decades, she has had the dual experience of Quantitative and Qualitative, allowing her to address the client business issues in a methodology agnostic manner and focus on the human insights that address the clients’ key question. She has previously worked for Ipsos and ORG MARG. 

Paru takes over from Manish Makhijani, previously Global Insights Director, Hindustan Unilever Ltd, who was elected President after the AGM 2022. Manish has contributed to MRSI for close to a decade as an MC member and as Vice President from 2019 to 2022. His many contributions to the MRSI include creation and execution of the Golden Key Awards - now in its fourth edition, Hackathon event at the Annual Seminar, etc. Manish is also a passionate advocate of nurturing talent and has been at the forefront of inspiring new talent to come to the industry and contribute toward business growth.
