Market Research Society of India (MRSI) held its annual Golden Key Awards 2023 in Gurgaon on February 21, 2024. Currently in its fifth edition, Golden Key Awards recognizes the contribution of insights to Indian businesses. The awards received a total of 161 nominations from over 34 organizations across 14 categories. A total of 41 entries were shortlisted as finalists by a highly esteemed jury


Donning the hat of the emcee for Golden Key Awards 2023 were Garima Agarwal, Research Manager at Purple Audacity Research and Innovation and Shaktik Shenoy, Research Executive at IPSOS. The awards ceremony also witnessed an inspiring session titled  ‘A warrior’s wisdom: Lessons from the trenches’. by Lt Gen DS Hooda, former Army Commander of Indian Army’s Northern Command. Shobha Prasad, Founder Director at Drshti Strategic Research Services also led an energizer session on the topic of ‘Finding Work-Laugh Balance’.

The Lifetime Achievement Award  at MRSI’s Golden Key Awards 2023 was presented to Pranesh Misra, Chairman and Managing Director at Brandscapes Worldwide and Partha Rakshit, Proprietor at Partha Rakshit Associate.
In addition to the winners for Golden Key Awards 2023, MRSI also announced the winning  team for Hackathon 2023 which was powered by ITC. The Hackathon called for entries from research agencies and  service providers in shaping a comprehensive tracking methodology to reveal the true impact of targeted marketing initiatives on the brand funnel. The winning team for MRSI’s Hackathon 2023 was Sprint Studio AI. 


Golden Key Awards 2023 welcomed a total of 22 partners for its fifth edition. While Advent Insight Solutions was the Golden Key Partner, Hindustan Unilever Limited, and Tata Consumer Products Limited joined as the Champion Partner. The Group Category Award was sponsored by Nestle, Kantar and ITC. The partner for the Lifetime Achievement Awards was VTION and the Inspiration Partners were NIQ, MetrixLab, and YouGov. Godrej Consumer Products, Dr. Reddy’s, DataXing, Xoxoday, TheLightBlub supported as Awards Advocate Partners.  RSB Insights & Analytics, Astute Analytica, and IPSOS also joined as Friends of Research.  While Johnnie Walker joined as the Drinks Partner, VC Now was the Livestream Partner.
