Param is co-founder of '3 Big Things' (www.3bigthings.studio), a behavioural design studio.
Over the last 28 years, Param has been in design and innovation leadership roles across companies like IDEO, Fractal.ai, Dr. Reddy’s, Kantar and Tata Digital. He began his career in Interaction design, transitioned to Design Research & Strategy, and over the last decade, has been instrumental in setting up and establishing strategic design capabilities & culture in several organisations.
Most recently, Param led the Experience Innovation Lab at Tata Digital, one of India's leading e-commerce and super-app platforms. Prior to this, Param served as Chief Design Officer and Executive team member at Fractal (www.fractal.ai). At Fractal, he helped build a capability and team of 75+ Design & Behavioral Science specialists working at the intersection of data science and design.
Prior to Fractal.ai, Param set up and led Studio 5B - a design thinking & innovation Centre - at Dr. Reddy’s, a leading pharmaceutical company. Studio 5B pioneered several opportunities & ideas across the pharma and healthcare landscape in the US, India, Russia, and Colombia - from digital health solutions for smoking cessation, to packaging to help in medication adherence, to service innovation for breast cancer patients & caregivers. Studio 5B was also instrumental in driving a culture of patient-centricity and innovation at Dr Reddy’s.

Param has served on the Executive Council in The Centre for Emerging Market Solutions at Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He is passionate about mindfulness and the ‘art of stillness'. He has created toolkits for applying Mindfulness and Design Thinking principles for a variety of professional and personal development topics: Year-end Reflections, Relationship with Authority, Relationship with Money and Relationship with Craft.
Param has a graduate degree in Visual Communication from Loyola College (Chennai), and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s ‘Senior Executive Leadership Program’ 2017-2018.
