    GENERAL 

    Q. What is the reference period for the work to be eligible for synopsis submission? 

    A. Original work not presented elsewhere and done in the last 1 year (June 2024 to date) is eligible for entry.  

     

    Q. Can I enter a synopsis on work done anywhere in the world? 
    A. 1. If the work has been done in India, it is eligible for entry.  

    A. 2. If part of the research has been done outside of India or for a team based outside of India, but the authors of the paper are based in India - it is eligible for entry.  

    A.3. Work done by multi country teams that include India based authors is also eligible for entry.  

    A.4. However, cases where the entire team is based outside India and only subcontracted data collection or moderation was done in India will NOT be eligible. 

      

    Q. Can non-members of MRSI submit synopses? 

    A. Yes, the 33rd MRSI Seminar is open to members and non-members of the MRSI.  

     

    Q. Can I submit entries even if I don’t work directly with MR or Insight? 
    A. Yes, as long as insight or market research played a key role in your entry substantiation, you can submit it for the 33rd MRSI Seminar. 

      

    Q. Can I submit a synopsis for the seminar, if a similar entry was submitted previously? For example, the Golden Key Awards - GKA2024? 

    A. Yes, if the GKA entry was not shortlisted as finalist and showcased either onstage or through various social media channels, including the MRSI website. It is recommended you share if the same case has been previously submitted and share why you feel it is current and relevant for the 33rd MRSI Seminar. 

    In case your entry was a finalist or winner at the GKA2024, but there was substantiative new/additional research or insight done, this MAY be eligible. Please check at info@mrsi.co.in if you are in any doubt. 

      

    Q. Can I enter a project/case which is at concept stage 

    A: Yes, it can be a compelling idea at the synopsis stage. Please note that to be shortlisted, your final paper submission you will need proof-of-concept description and evaluation. Even failures can be great learnings. 

     

    Q. Can I submit multiple synopses? 

    A. Yes, an organisation or individual can submit multiple entries. 

     

    Q. We are a client and agency team of 3 people. Can we submit a team synopsis together? 

    A. Yes, you can add up to 10 authors, across organisations  

      

    Q. Is the synopsis supposed to be “Blind" or “Branded"? 

    A. The document should not carry the name of authors, the name of author’s organisation(s) nor reference to branded tools/ methods which can reveal the identity of the author/ organisation + service/ productBranding or author references in the synopsis will lead to disqualification 

    Please ensure there are no branding or author references in images, file names or URL. 

     

    Q. Is there an entry fee?  

    A. No entry fee for synopsis submission for both members and non-members.   

     

    Q. When is the last date for submitting entries? 

    A. The last date for submitting entries is 4th June 2025 at 2:00 PM IST.  

     

    SUBMITTING ENTRIES 

    Q. How do I submit my entry? 

    A. The entry is via our MRSI website and click on the “SUBMIT SYNOPSIS" from the left side menu. 

      

    Q. What do I have to fill in the synopsis? 

    A. Click on the “SUBMIT SYNOPSIS GUIDE" for all details on structure, wordcount limit and more. 

     

    Q. What is the format of the synopsis? 

    A. The synopsis document shall be saved in PDF format. If it is available, you may add the NOC too. The files shall not exceed 10MB. 

     

    Q. Can I attach a website link with my entry? 

    A. No. Only PDF document to be uploaded.  

     

    Q.I don’t want my entry form to be presented to the jury as a formatting disaster. What should I do to ensure this? 

    A. The synopsis document should not exceed 1500 words. Font used should be “Calibri" size 12 and the line spacing should be 1.5. 

     

    Q. What is the submission process? 

    A. Click on the “SUBMIT SYNOPSIS", add the “Title", select the synopsis theme from the “Topic" dropdown list, add Author’s details and upload the files (Synopsis document and the NOC, both in PDF format). You may add another “Topic" if your synopsis could be classified under more than one topic 

     

    Q. How many synopses can I submit at a time? 

    A. Entries can be submitted one at a time.  

     

    Q. If I fill in my synopsis submission form partially, will it be saved? 

    A. No. You will have to start again. 

     

    Q. If I have already completed one or more submissions and I decide to abandon a fresh entry, will my previous entries be saved? 

    A. Please ensure to save the “Submission ID" for all further communication regarding your synopsis, to be sure. Please immediately email us at info@mrsi.co.in to reconfirm 

     

    Q. What happens when I finish all my entry submission details? 

    A. After you finish inputting all your entries, click the “Submit" button at the bottom of the form. 

     

    Q. Can I confirm my entry after submission? 

    A. Yes. A “Submission ID" will be displayed. Please save it.  

     

    AFTER SUBMITTING SYNOPSIS 

    Q. What happens after I submit my synopsis? 

    A. All the PDF documents are forwarded to a jury panel of senior professionals for review. 

     

    Q. Can the entries be disqualified? 

    A. Yes, the entries can get disqualified due to the following reasons: 

    1. Work done is not in the reference period. 
    2. Entry does not meet the synopsis entry requirements. 
    3. If the submitted synopsis document reveals the name of authors, name of the authors’ organisation(s), reference to branded tools/methods, or mentions the brand names of products or services 
    4Synopsis that involve global or local organization tools or models or programmes must clearly demonstrate that the authors have done more than implement an organisational initiative. Synopsis that appear to be implementation of wider initiatives, rather than the work of the authors risk disqualification. 

    5.  NOC is not submitted 

     

    Q. Are materials submitted to the 33rd MRSI Seminar public? 

    A. All submitted synopsis become the property of the MRSI and may be used for promotional purposes.  

     

    Q: Why should I submit a NOC? 

    A. It is important to confirm no objection to your synopsis being presented in 33rd MRSI Seminar, which is a public event.  

     
    Q. What if there is a part of my submission that my client or I do not want disclosed to the public? 

    A. Please DO NOT include confidential information with your submission.
